In line with the national mission to build a clean Sri Lanka and a clean Sri Lanka, the Gampaha District “Clean Sri Lanka Walk” was held on July 28th under the patronage of Gampaha District Secretary/Government Agent Lalinda Gamage.

The walk started from near the Gampaha District Secretariat and ended at the Miriswatte Junction and returned to the Gampaha District Secretariat.

At the end of the walk, a street play was performed to educate the officials. For these occasions, Gampaha Additional District Secretaries J.W.S. Kithsiri, Asiri Weerasekara, Assistant District Secretary Nilanthi Kumari, officers of the Gampaha District Secretariat premises and about 600 officers of other government institutions established in the district participated.
